FAQ

  • Yes! We are in-network with:

    CDPHP, MVP,Optum/UnitedHealthcare (excluding Oxford and community plans), and Blue Shield of Northeastern NY (excluding Anthem and Excellus).

    We do not bill out-of-network (OON), but we will provide a medical receipt for you to be reimbursed for outside payment. You would need to reach out to your plan to find out if you have OON benefits.

  • Yes, we do offer in-person therapy sessions in our Albany office. However, availability is very limited due to high demand. Please contact us to learn more about our current options.

  • Part of what makes therapy effective is confidentiality. If the child or teen knows we report everything to the parent, they might not tell us what we need to know to help them.

    Therefore, we try to give them the most confidential space possible. That being said, we will bring in the parents for various reasons, including:

    • Serious safety concerns

    • Family therapy as an intervention

    • If the child/teen requests

    If you have any questions, please inform your child’s therapist when starting services to make sure that you are on the same page.
